22 06 2010

Dembele has scored two goals in ten games for the French club.

The Daily Mail claims that both Wolves and Watford are interested in Chateauroux striker Mana Dembele.

The 21-year-old Frenchman is relatively unknown and would be a fairly big gamble for Mick McCarthy to take considering he can only name 25 players this season.

“We’ve had an approach from Wolves for Guirane. We are only at the beginning of discussions.”

N’Daw had been on loan at St. Etienne and a permanent move had been expected from Nantes but Wolves look to have hijacked the deal.

Here are a couple of N’Daw’s goals:

The fee is undisclosed as per club policy but it matches the amount paid for Kevin Doyle last summer. He has signed a four-year-deal with the option of a fifth year in Wolves’ favour.

I told you earlier that the deal was set to be completed tomorrow but obviously Sky were wrong and the deal had been completed when he Compton earlier this afternoon.

Here is a picture gallery of Fletcher who is pictured with Mick McCarthy.

I think it’s a great signing for Wolves, what do you think?

3 06 2010

Palace have been in administration since January, but where saved from going under on Tuesday.

The Daily Mirror are today reporting that Wolves will make Crystal Palace an offer for their goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

The Argentine had a patchy start in English football but got good reviews last season despite keeping only nine clean sheets in 52 appearances for the Eagles.

If Wolves did make a move for Speroni, you would expect at least one either Wayne Hennessey or Carl Ikeme to move on.

Speroni has won Palace’s play of the season awards three years running.

What do you think? Would Speroni give Wolves better competition for places?
